Ingredients

  • Oats  4 Cups
  • Cooking Oil 3 tb spoons
  • Vegetables
  • Fresh Mint – few leaves
  • Cabbage 1 cup shredded finely
  • Onions 1 chopped
  • Carrots 1 cut into small pieces
  • Green Chilies sliced in 4 lengthwise
  • Potato  1 small cut into small pieces
  • Tomatoes 3 cut into lengthwise 
  • Cloves  3 or 4
  • Cardamon  3
  • Cinnamon few pieces

Method

  1. Cut / chop all the vegetables and keep them aside. You may add any other vegetables as you wish
  2. Heat the Pan and add the cooking oil
  3. First Add Mint leaves, then add Cloves, Elachi and Cinnamon
  4. Add chopped onions, fry till light brown
  5. Add Cabbage and other cut vegetables except tomato and sauté them till they are little cooked
  6. Now, add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 1 more minute
  7. Add oats to this and stir for 1 more minute 
  8. Add salt and sprinkle just 3 table spoons of water and stir so the salt is mixed well
  9. Cook on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes 

 Note:

  • Oats gets cooked very fast and also no need to add more water as the vegetables already contains water. 
  • If u want substitute Elachi, Cloves and Cinnamon with any brand BiryaniorPulav Masala
