Ingredients for Moong Dal Halwa

Milk

 Sweetened Condensed Milk

Moong Dal (dhuli)

Ghee

Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder

Badam (Almonds) cut into slivers

Kishmish (Raisins)

Pista chopped

How to make Moong Dal Halwa

  1. Clean and soak the moong dal for 30 minutes, drain and grind to a coarse paste. Fry the dal paste in ghee, till it turns golden brown.
  2. Add the milk and cook on low flame, stirring continuously, till milk dries up. Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk and cook, stirring continuously, till desired consistency is reached.
  3. Mix well and transfer to a bowl. Garnish with the almonds. raisins and pistachio.
