Ingredients for Moong Dal Halwa
– Sweetened Condensed Milk
–Moong Dal (dhuli)
–Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder
–Badam (Almonds) cut into slivers
How to make Moong Dal Halwa
- Clean and soak the moong dal for 30 minutes, drain and grind to a coarse paste. Fry the dal paste in ghee, till it turns golden brown.
- Add the milk and cook on low flame, stirring continuously, till milk dries up. Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk and cook, stirring continuously, till desired consistency is reached.
- Mix well and transfer to a bowl. Garnish with the almonds. raisins and pistachio.
